Brighton

The United Kingdom's most cosmopolitan and vibrant seaside resort, known as "London-by-the-sea". Immensely popular with young people, it has a safe and friendly atmosphere, fantastic entertainment and nightlife and beautiful local countryside. During the day you can take advantage of the mild, pleasant climate to discover the excellent shops, historic Lanes, The Royal Pavilion as well as sports and leisure facilities.

Brighton was originally a fisherman’s town before it was colonized by the royals and the aristocracy. These fishermen lived in the winding Lanes. Today in the Lanes you can find pubs, antique shops, book shops and cafés on every corner. Brighton is a city which has grown over the centuries and it is still very young. Part of the reason is its proximity to London: trains run directly to Victoria and take about 45 minutes.

Our school, a beautiful restored Edwardian building, lies on the promenade, directly opposite the West Pier and also close to the splendid Grand Hotel. It is within a short walking distance of both the beach and the town centre. Aside from our modern furnished classrooms with a view of the sea, our school has its own restaurant, pub and a disco. There are more than 50 comfortably furnished double rooms, each with their own bath.

Devon

Palm and lemon trees in 'olde worlde' England?! Believe it or not, there are resort towns on England's southern coast, Exmouth included, which can boast sumptuous sub-tropical vegetation and average summer temperatures of around 25°.

Arguably one of the most typically English regions, the Southwest has provided the source of many of the country´s Arthurian legends and a fair share of its finest literature. With its wonderfully mild climate and Mediterranean-style architecture, it is hardly surprising that Exmouth is regarded by the English as part of their very own "Riviera"!

There are so many attractions. For example, sports: sailing, riding, golf, polo and cricket. Long walks on scenic cliffs, weeping willows by rivers, and the unique and mysterious gloomy moors.

For anyone who is interested in the history of the island, all around Exmouth there are relics of the mythical past. Not only does Avalon have its origins here but it was also home to William the Conqueror and Richard the Lionheart.

Our instructors will be delighted to arrange all trips and excursions exclusively for you. We also recommend a visit to Exeter and Plymouth, which are attractive seaside cities. Plymouth is very well known as the place from where the Pilgrim Fathers set out for "The New World".

The delightful seaside resort at the mouth of the river Exe in the English Riviera, north of Torbay, is the home of our popular school which is located directly on the town square. Sprachcaffe Languages PLUS has grown immensely in popularity in recent years. All the facilities are within easy reach of the school.

Swanage

The capital of the isle of Purbeck, approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes away from London, Swanage is a popular seaside resort on the south coast of England, with long inviting expanses of sandy beaches, clear unpolluted water and breathtaking coastal scenery. It provides a warm welcome to all visitors and retains an atmosphere of safety and tranquility. Due to its geographical position, Swanage enjoys a very mild climate and often heads the British sunshine league. Swanage offers a variety of entertainment including fairs, festivals, carnivals, theatre, live music, museums a variety of walks and also a ride on a historic steam train.

The school occupies an elevated position in the centre of the town, enjoying splendid views. The school offers 35 modern purpose-built classrooms, assembly hall, theatre, games room, multimedia-self access centre (with internet), medical room, indoor sports hall, heated swimming pool, tennis courts, squash courts, cafeteria, gym, cinema, disco and college accommodation (residence), reserved for young students in summer time.

Edinburgh

This fascinating city is alive with history and culture. It is so compact that you are never far from the impressive castle or from the wide selection of theatres, art galleries, clubs, pubs or restaurants. Wherever you are, you'll discover the city's vibrant atmosphere and the famous warm welcome of its people. This is particularly true in August when thousands of visitors arrive in Edinburgh for the renowned International Arts Festival. For something a little different, explore the city's ancient streets, or head out of town to the natural splendor of Scotland's countryside and mountains.

The school is located in a Georgian terrace; five minutes walk from the main shopping area of Princes Street. With 12 light and airy classrooms with views over beautifully kept mature gardens. The school is equipped with modern facilities: a multi-media centre and a well-stocked library of software, a library/study room and a school café with a cosmopolitan atmosphere.
