Auckland

Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand, is situated on a narrow stretch of land in the north of the country. The city's two harbours have earned it the name of "City of Sails". Auckland, bursting with energy and vitality, has magnificent beaches and perfect sailing conditions. A boat trip to the islands in the Hauraki Gulf is an experience not to be missed. Auckland is the financial and business centre of New Zealand and, as such, it naturally offers attractive shopping amenities, for example the Atrium on Elliott Street.
The school is situated in the centre of the city and over-looks a park. There are bright, modern classrooms, a TV and video room, computers with Internet access, and two common rooms for the students. The social activities programme includes three categories of activity: cultural, social and sporting - for example, students can take part in a diving course or learn to sail in summer and in winter there is weekend skiing, windsurfing, horse riding, bush walking, tennis and sight-seeing tours, not to mention many other pastimes.
